Scottsboro Trials of 1930
In the 1930's people focused on the trials in Scottsboro, Alabama. The trial was accusing nine black teenagers of rape on two white women. The two women falsely accused the nine blacks of rape. The crime took place on a train on March 25, 1931. A several number of white men and black men, rode on the same train, trying to find work in different places. Soon after, a fight broke out between black and white homeless people, the white people were thrown off the train. When the whites got down, they reported the incident to the stationmaster at the nearest station. The stationmaster called the officials to order an imediate halt
